Kansas City's 5th Annual St. Jude Dream home is under construction at Creekmoor. The luxurious $400,000 2 story style home is being built in the new 8th phase of Creekmoor's Westbrook Neighborhood. Jeff Kutcher, President of Prestige Homes, who originated the campaign to bring the home to Creekmoor said, "We are very proud to be associated with the St. Judes Organization and feel certain the Dream Home will be a resounding success."

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. Founded by late entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, Tenn., St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world. St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No child is ever denied treatment because of the family's inability to pay. St. Jude is financially supported by ALSAC, its fundraising organization.

On July 14th Prestige Homes was joined be representatives of St. Judes, Cooper Land, Reece and Nichols, and a host of subcontractors and local dignitaries for ground breaking ceremonies marking commencement of construction of the home. The event was covered by KCTV 5. The home and nineteen other valuable prizes will be given away on June 5th at a televised drawing. Tickets sales began on March 9th.
